Top seven reasons why fresh graduates fail to find a suitable job

According to the experts of dissertation help, a fresh graduate is a person, who has received a degree on completing a course of study in a university. Most fresh graduates expect to find a job. However, fresh graduates fail to find a suitable job. Here are the top seven reasons, why fresh graduates fail to find a suitable job.

1. The size and makeup of companies have changed.

Most companies are recruiting fewer students or fresh graduates. The college has become more affordable and a lot of pressure has been put on the student to attend college in order to find a good job. Most companies prefer to hire an experienced person. Every company has changed their rules and regulations to hire a fresh graduate.

2. Little or no work experience

Experience is needed to getting a job. Every owner finds a good employee with experience. Fresh graduates have no work experience, yet all the jobs require work experience. Therefore, they cannot get a job because they have no experience in order to get a job. Actually, the organization does not have time. They need experienced people who can work independently rather than expend time and money on a fresh graduate. This is one of the major issue facing fresh graduates.

3. No preparation on the resume and cover letter

Most fresh graduates fail to find a job, because, they do not prepare their resume and cover letter. Your resume and cover letter perform as your first impression. You cannot charm them with your presence or your smile. So expend some time to make it look and sound good. When describing yourself or your work account, use action words. Make your cover letter and resume stand out. Be detailed and descriptive.

4. Lack of confidence

Lack of confidence is another major reason for fresh graduates. Fresh graduates fail to find a suitable job, because, they have a lack of confidence. Fresh graduates fear that they will not adequately display their skills or knowledge to prospective employers. It is right that the workplace is competitive. Companies agree that most students do not have confidence in their abilities, lack decisive thinking skills, concentration to detail and writing ability.

5. Lack of networking

Fresh graduates fail to find a suitable job, because, they have a lack of networking. Many people get jobs through referrals. If somebody has been working for a company for some time, then that employee knows what it takes to succeed, and if that employee knows somebody who can do it, it is an easy fit. The owner will trust the employee referring to the new candidate.

6. No interview skills

Fresh graduates fail to get a job, because, they have no interview skills. When you meet the interviewer, give a firm handshake, and smile. Show your friendly side. We are all human.

7. Many companies have raised the bar of job requirements

Fresh graduates fail to find a suitable job, because, many companies have raised the bar of job requirements. Fresh graduates do not fulfil all requirements.
